Spaceport-ready compute

Click. It's live.

Nebulae provisions a real Ubuntu container, wires up HTTPS, DNS and SSH, and hands you a public URL — usually before your coffee's poured. Built for Spaceport apps, open to anything that runs on Linux.

  • Ubuntu 22.04 / 24.04 LTS
  • Automatic SSL
  • Root SSH
  • CouchDB included
nebulae — deploy
No magic, just servers

A real container, not a sandbox.

Every Nebula is a full Ubuntu LTS container — your pick of 22.04 or 24.04 — with Docker, Nginx and a JVM preinstalled. You get root, a shell, and a database, the same box you'd rent anywhere, minus the afternoon you'd spend wiring up nginx, certbot and DNS.

What you get

Everything a deploy needs, already done.

One click

Containers on demand

Name a project, pick a tier, hit create. Nebulae builds the container from a pre-baked image and brings it online in seconds — no provisioning scripts, no waiting on a fresh OS install.

Networking

HTTPS subdomains, automatically

Each container comes up at its own address with a wildcard certificate already issued. Nothing to configure.

Custom domains

Bring your own

Point a domain you own at any container and let us handle the Certbot SSL in a click.

Access

Real SSH

Toggle SSH per container and log in as a real user with a generated password. It's your box.

Data

CouchDB on board

Every container ships with CouchDB 3 and its own admin credentials, ready on a dedicated port.

Control

One dashboard for the fleet

Start, stop and delete containers, manage ports and services, upload files, and watch deployment tasks stream their logs live — all from the Nebulae control panel.

How it works

Three steps to a running app.

Create

Choose a name and a tier and click create. We build your container from a hardened base image — Docker, Nginx and the JVM already in place.

Connect

You instantly get a secured URL at project.you.spaceport.host. Add a custom domain whenever you're ready, SSL included.

Operate

Manage everything from the dashboard: SSH in, reach the database, upload files, and watch deploy tasks run in real time.

Pricing

Pick your clearance.

Every plan runs the same one-click deployment system. Your subscription also directly supports the Spaceport open-source project.

Questions

The honest answers.

Is this really just Ubuntu?

Yes. Every Nebula is a full Ubuntu LXC container — 22.04 or 24.04 LTS, your choice — with Docker, Nginx and a JVM preinstalled. If it runs on Linux, it runs here.

Do I have to use Spaceport?

No. Nebulae is tuned for Spaceport apps, but the container is yours — deploy any stack you like.

How do domains and SSL work?

Every container gets a wildcard-secured subdomain the moment it's created. Add custom domains in a click and we handle the certificate.

Can I get a shell?

Yes — flip on SSH for any container and connect as a real user with a generated password.

What about a database?

Each container ships with CouchDB 3 and its own admin credentials, listening on a dedicated port.

Are backups included?

Manual backups from Commander up; automatic backups on Captain and Planetary, with custom schedules on baremetal.
